Tandem
Tandem is a reimagined tandem airport seating system designed to explore how airport gate seating can communicate expected wait times and improve comfort without disrupting airport flow. Tandem I increases the overall comfort of the seats by including optional headrests, armrests and legrests. Tandem II communicates long vs. short expected wait times through the use of an interchangeable backrest system. One backrest is easier to clean and less comfortable, the other is larger, and more comfortable, but harder to maintain.
